Admission Rules & Regulations
General Guidelines for All Applicants
- Photocopy Advisory: Before submitting any original documents (e.g., mark sheets), please make photocopies for your records. Original documents will be returned after university verification, typically by February.
- Provisional Admission: Students are encouraged to take provisional admission in the next class by the prescribed date. Attendance will be counted from the date studies commence. Failure to secure admission after the declaration of results may result in loss of eligibility for regular admission.
- Attendance: Students must maintain at least 75% attendance in each course, as required by University of Rajasthan.
Late Admission
- Late Admission: If seats remain vacant after the official admission deadline, waiting list may be considered. However, no applications will be accepted after the state government’s final admission date.
Change of Faculty/Subject
- Change of Faculty/Subject: Students can request a change of faculty or subject, provided there is a vacancy in the desired faculty/subject and the student’s marks meet the
required percentage. Only one subject change is allowed, the applicant must apply within 15 days.
Reserved Seats and Special Categories
- Vocational and Equivalency Admissions: Students with vocational qualifications equivalent to 12th-grade certification, as recognized by relevant authorities, may be eligible for admission. This includes those with NCVT or polytechnic certifications, provided certain conditions are met.
Admission or Expulsion
The principal reserves the right to refuse admission to a candidate under the following circumstances:
- If the candidate has deliberately concealed or misrepresented any information in the application form.
- If the candidate has been involved in malpractice during the University examination period.
- The Principal may also refuse admission under any special circumstances deemed necessary.
