Student Code of Conduct

At Shri Balaji Mahila P.G. College, we aim to create a positive and respectful environment where every student can succeed. Our Student Code of Conduct sets out the behavior we expect from all students to ensure that everyone feels safe, supported, and valued. Here’s what we ask of you as part of our college community:

  • Respect and Kindness: Treat your teachers, classmates, and college staff with respect and kindness. Think of your college as a place of learning, similar to a temple of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge.
  • Self-Discipline: Practice self-discipline in your actions. Use the college facilities responsibly and take care of them as if they were your own, so everyone can benefit.
  • Active Participation: Take an active interest in your studies and participate in college programs. Your involvement helps you grow and contributes to the success of the college.
  • Uniform and Presentation: Wear your college uniform with pride. It shows your commitment to the college’s values and fosters a sense of unity among students.
  • Exemplary Conduct: Whether on campus or off, behave politely and with a spirit of service. Strive to leave a positive impression on others, showing the best qualities of a student of Shri Balaji Mahila P.G. College.

Academic Integrity Policy

Academic integrity is the cornerstone of a meaningful education. Our Academic Integrity Policy emphasizes the importance of honesty and ethical behavior in all academic pursuits. Whether you’re taking an exam, writing a paper, or participating in group work, it’s essential to uphold the highest standards of integrity

Attendance Policy

In line with the rules of Rajasthan University and the Commissionerate of College Education, it is mandatory for all girl students to maintain at least 75% attendance in each course. Regular attendance is essential for your success and active participation in college life. While occasional absences for valid reasons are understood, consistent attendance is crucial to meet the required standards and make the most of your education.

Anti-Ragging Policy

At Shri Balaji Mahila P.G. College, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. It is strictly prohibited both on and off-campus, including hostels. The Anti-Ragging Cell, led by the dean, ensures that all reports are handled promptly. Students are encouraged to report any incidents to the dean or hostel wardens.

Reporting and Consequences

If you experience or witness ragging, report it immediately. All reports are confidential and taken seriously. Ragging is a criminal offense, and those found guilty may face:

  • Suspension from classes or exams
  • Withholding of scholarships, if any and results
  • Expulsion from the hostel or institution
  • Legal action, including imprisonment and fines

Students can also be banned from future admissions, and remarks may be included in their certificates affecting future opportunities.

Our goal is to create a safe and respectful environment for all students. Together, we can keep the campus ragging-free.
